About The Team

Hi, I'm Vicki Ibaugh - 5572

I’m the owner of Know You to Grow You and a Certified Professional Coach and Kolbe Consultant.

The biggest risk I took years ago was to step away from a job that was sucking the life out of me to search for what I really wanted – Work that was fulfilling, done on my terms, and that allowed me time with family and to travel.

Teaching, coaching, inspiring and innovating had always played a role in my 20+ year career as an instructional designer (course creator), but I did not realize until later that these strengths were my secret sauce for success as an entrepreneur.  When I first started out, because I was a newbie, I followed all the gurus and didn’t realize following the model of someone not like me was setting me up to fail.

Over time I realized my greatest successes came when I honored my way of doing things.  Today I embrace being a natural innovator, coach, and teacher, as well as my divine downloads that add a unique twist to everything I do.

I love that I get to support other women entrepreneurs to discover their natural gifts and way of working so they can create (or recreate) a profitable business that they love.

FUN FACTS – I love to travel, hike, and read.  I split time between Orlando, Florida and Gnaw Bone, Indiana. I began my career as a nurse and nurse practitioner. I then spent 20+ years designing and creating online courses including courses for the CDC and Dept. of Defense.

Hi, I'm Eric Ibaugh - 8326

Eric Ibaugh Drumming

In addition to being the Administrative Assistant for Know You To Grow You, I am the drummer in a rock band.

While music and drumming are my passion, I also am a whiz with tech stuff and computers.  I handle anything from research (using my fact finding and attention to detail strengths) to the hands-on building out of fillable forms and graphics.  One of my other strengths is finding shortcuts to make things more efficient.

Just like my drumming in the band, I am usually in the background, and yet I am key to keeping things moving forward so the rest of the team can do what they do best at the front of the stage.

I also bring in that GenZ perspective that keeps things up-to-date.

FUN FACTS – I attended my first rock concert at the age of 5.  I am a native Floridian and an only child.

Hi, I'm Anjanette NewCombe - 6923

I am the Kolbe Youth Specialist for Know You To Grow You as well as a 4th grade math teacher.

One of the key assets I bring to the team is my natural ability to organize and my love of connecting with kids and parents.  I am also the mom to two very different boys.  One who knew very early what he wanted to do with his life (Sports Broadcasting) and one who is still working on finding his way.

Learning Kolbe was so helpful in me understanding myself and my NEED to have a plan.  It was also very helpful in allowing me to see how my youngest son is wired to work very differently than me.  I look back now and can see the things that frustrated me were because we are each wired to work differently.

When my sister, Vicki, suggested I get certified in the Kolbe youth and career tools and head up doing the youth assessments, I knew this would give me a way to support kids and parents to better understand their differences (like my son and I).  It also gives me a way to helps kids be able to get better grades, enjoy school more, and seek out career options that are a great fit for their interests and natural work style.

I wish I had these tools years ago when my kids were younger.  I am grateful to be able to bring these tools and assessments to others as well as use this knowledge to help the kids in my classroom who might struggle because their natural way of doing things is different from how they are being taught in the classroom.

When you know your strengths and those of your child, you can create ways to be more successful and have fewer arguments about how things “should” be done.  Each of you ends up with the freedom to be you which is so priceless.

FUN FACTS – I love my dogs and my favorite thing to do is read while they snuggle with me on the couch.  My favorite season is fall even though it means I have to leave my summer vacation behind to return to the classroom.

Curious about the 4 numbers with our names?

They are our unique way of doing work.

One of the tools we use with our clients is the Kolbe Index which is a scientifically validated measure of how you natural problem solve and do work.

Only 5% of the world does work the way you do.  This is why trying to follow the advice of someone else may not work.  If it is does NOT align to how you naturally approach work, you will just end up frustrated and exhausted.

When you align your work to your natural style, you will find more flow and work will be more fun.  Our goal is to support you in finding out your style and use that to your advantage.

This also lets us know how to best work with you and meet your needs.
